I was picked by David to do a journal entry...10 things about me. David is an amazing artist who I consider a wonderful friend and have so much respect for. He also has a very talented family which he adores....what a lucky guy! This is for you David .......

1. Love.....my boyfriend, family, and friends are very important to me, always have and will be. I am so close to my friends that the line between friends and family really is not there or a clear one...they ARE my family. My boyfriend, Jake....well, he holds a very special place in my heart, he is 20, works, goes to college and is an amazing guitarist....I’m so proud of all he does. But beyond all of that he is kind, loving, talented, funny, (makes me laugh all the time), intelligent and yeah all of that and really good looking too! haha....luv ya hun. I am a very lucky girl. The relationship I have with my family is wonderful, they are the kindest, most caring people you will ever meet. I can talk to them about anything and know I will never be judged.....that is very special to me. Love ....when you love someone, you have to accept and embrace all of them by this I mean you cannot pick and chose pieces and parts that you want to love, thats not love.


2. I come from a very strong line of women....my Grandmother and Mother are amazing people. Such strong, funny, talented, courageous, caring and kind women......so beautiful. My 12th great grandmother is Pocahontas ....yeah the line is long. This is a fact I rarely share with most..... but all such amazing women.

3. I have a pen pal....Her name is Ruta. I love her as family and have never met her but I will someday. When I was in first grade we had a balloon launch with our names and the school address inside. Mine was the only one to be found and contacted. It was amazing how far that small balloon traveled, over 150 miles. We have kept in contact for over 10 years. Isn’t it amazing the choices and steps that we do in our everyday life affect our future in ways you may not even know about or won’t until much farther in life.

4. I have a strong connection with this earth we live in, how we treat it and all of nature. So much of my art can reflect that. There is so much to be done to save this amazing planet...our ways must change. We all must wake up and start treating this earth, nature and each other with the respect and love we all deserve...life is so precious and beautiful.

5. I live in this amazing place...surrounded by woods and nature. Wonderful, odd things happen here all the time. The rainbow begins and ends here, in my backyard. Yes, literally. We have video taped it twice.....each time within the same area. The neighbors will call and say the rainbow is over your house again...look. When you look out the back door you see the end or beginning or the rainbow just yards from our door......breathtaking!

6. I am a Christian. I have strong beliefs and no, I do not attend a church or feel a need to label myself any farther than the fact that I am a Christian. I do not believe one must know which sect of religion they belong to in order to have a personal relationship with God. I can walk in the woods and feel his presence and talk whenever I feel. I have experienced to much.....there is more than what we see.

7. Flying....I have a huge fascination with flying, okay maybe not fascination but desire to fly. Never been in an airplane but I will someday. I have a lifetime of journeys ahead of me. (Okay hun, we won’t think about skydiving yet....but someday ya never know )

8. I love history...maybe because we must understand the past in order to avoid future mistakes. We must understand where we have been in order to see where we are going.

9. Art! I have always known my life would be filled with art and creativity. I have drawn since before I could talk. My hands would draw what I was seeing and feeling and felt no need to concentrate on speaking. I see the world a little differently then most...the details of the tiniest things are astounding to me. I am in awe of everything God has created and given us.


10. Music.....very important to me. I have what some might call strange tastes in music for a girl. I love metal...heavy, symphonic metal, industrial. Some of my favorites are Nightwish, Dream Theater, Children of Bodom, Symphony X, Disturbed, Rammstein, Hellyeah, Ill Nino, Apocalyptica “ Quutamo” , check that one out on youtube......but I also appreciate all forms of music and can listen to most. Music is playing in this house constantly.....art and music go hand in hand.


I am supposed to pick 5 people to now ask to do the same....10 things about you. Well, hmmm......can be hard to narrow it to 5 because I have so many wonderful friends on DA and I would love to hear more about. PLEASE DO NOT feel you must do this if you do not want to. But I am choosing you because I feel very strong connections to you and would love to hear more about you and your life.....
